about
Good as New was one of the first tunes I wrote after I brought home my newly-repaired fiddle. The Funeral Shop was named, inadvertently, by pianist Stephen Walker, after he couldn’t remember the word for an undertaker. Louise Ryan (accordion maestro from Newport, Co Tipperary) and I wrote the final tune one Sunday morning after a Saturday night pub quiz, at which Blue Ivy was the answer to a question we can’t remember!

Hello Aidan, I purchased your new album in April and have enjoyed playing the download. When the it arrived in the post there was no physical CD inside the case. I have been promised a replacement but have still not received anything. I only need the CD - I have the case. Obviously I can create a CD from the download, but that’s not the point. Hope you can help.
Best wishes, Martin D’Arcy
